Job Description
- Good knowledge and experience in heavy steel structure, heavy equipment’s design.
- Expertise in Welding, types of welding, welding processes and representations
- Expertise in Inventor/Solid works/Creo
- Build CAD models, Assemblies, Drawings required for integration and BOM creation in PDM
- Good knowledge of standard practices followed for 2D and 3D Modelling / Drafting, Skeleton modeling, surface skeleton generation.
- Good understanding of design and engineering fundamentals, GD&T. Should have experience with PDM, SAP & PLM systems.
- Basic understanding of class requirements like DNV, NORSOK, EN standard
- Should have knowledge of Hydraulics system.
- Knowledge in Component selection like pump, cylinders, hoses, pipes, adaptors and required accessories.
- Able to handle the tasks/projects independently, maintain the quality and follow delivery of assigned tasks/projects.
- Review and validate manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
- Bachelors in mechanical engineering with 6 - 8 years relevant experience
