Sr. Design Engineer/Asst. Design Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge of mechanical structural design & related manufacturing processes
• Ability to handle the complete project in 3D CAD Solid Edge / NX modelling environments, hands on the large assembly. Solid-edge
• Bill of material and Revision management of design/manufacturing drawings
• Knowledge of ECN/ECR process.
• Ability to create design documentation & calculations.
• User level Knowledge & exposure of PLM (Teamcenter etc.) and ERP (SAP, Oracle NetSuite etc.) is advantageous.
• Highly organized - Excellent follow through and follow up skills; results and delivery oriented
• Able to multi-task a variety of duties and work requests
• Key member of multidisciplinary teams providing leadership on projects from concept design to final commissioning and user handover.
• Provides leadership, quality assurance oversight and technical guidance to the mechanical engineers and technologists within the business unit.
• Having design background, in the below fields is desirable a) Fire/foam trucks

b) Liquid waste management products

c) Truck superstructures like load bodies, tippers etc.

d) Heavy machinery

Preferred candidate profile

• Software Knowledge required -

Solid Edge, NX, Teamcenter, ERP (SAP, Oracle NetSuite)
