Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Design talent to join our dynamic team at our Design management office in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate need to have hands-on experience with Solid Edge , AutoCAD Inventor, or similar 3D design software. You will be responsible for designing and developing parts, assemblies, and systems for Sheet metal design and structural designs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop sheet metal parts and assembly components for Telecom, Data center and Energy Storage application.
• Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications using SolidEdge, AutoCAD Inventor, or equivalent CAD software.
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet manufacturing requirements.
• Perform design analysis to ensure quality and functionality of components.
• Modify existing designs for improved performance or cost optimization.
• Support the creation of prototypes and testing phases.
• Assist in the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of design projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the Sheet metal design .
• Proficient in 3D design software like SolidEdge, AutoCAD Inventor, or similar (knowledge of other 3D software may be considered).
• Experience in designing sheet metal parts and assembly components.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Experience in conversion from Design to prototype Stage ( Production -> Process Engineering)

Preferred Qualifications:

• More than 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for machinery design.
• Ability to handle complex design challenges and offer innovative solutions.
