Development Sr. Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Should have the Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, including cutting(laser, turret punch press), bending(press brake), surface finishing and testing, MIG, TIG, MAG, and spot welding.
• Development of sheet metal enclosures and other components based on customer requirements.
• Build and test prototypes to validate the designs working with the CFT team
• Conduct validation tests on prototypes to assess functionality, reliability, and durability
• Deep knowledge of process validation.
• Create and review technical drawings and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid edge).
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with sourcing for materials and parts and ensuring that they meet design specifications.
• Work closely with electrical team.
• Knowledge of PPAP documents.
• Work & maintain records for PDCA cycle.
• Knowledge of industry standards
