Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather reporting requirements and analyze data to provide recurring reports.
- Perform quality assurance and test conclusions to ensure the validity of the analysis.
- Select the right analysis methods for a given issue or problem to provide the most accurate analysis.
- Deliver recurring reports and/or analyses to stakeholders on time.
- Extract data from operational systems and reporting databases to understand or make conclusions from the data for decision-making purposes.
- Use globally standardized dashboards and best reporting practices to support BI needs.
- Work with Business Intelligence Analyst - Senior and the Business Intelligence Leader to understand the needs of end users.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Analyst - Senior and Business Intelligence Leader to seek clarity on the intent and purpose of the assignment.
- Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders on analysis and reporting.
- Build and sustain Cummins leadership culture by consistently demonstrating all Cummins Leadership Behaviors, not only those included in competencies supporting this role.
- Required : Power BI, DAX, SQL, SSIS
- Nice to have : Power Automate, Power Apps, Basic knowledge of Oracle SCM, Basic knowledge of Snowflake
- Experience analyzing data and developing clear and accurate conclusions required.
- Experience supporting a customer-focused organization preferred.
- Develop expertise in Supply Chain Data Model - SQL server-based data model and provide support to product and/or process owners.
- Functional UAT, Functional Specification Documentation.
- Experience in Data Modelling - Dimension and Fact tables and in SSAS.
- College, university, or equivalent bachelor s degree in Data Sciences, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field with a quantitative focus, or equivalent experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Communicates effectively : Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Nimble learning : Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder.
