Technical Lead Manager

Job Summary: As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Head-End Systems (HES), Meter Data Management (MDM), Prepaid, and Billing Systems. You will manage and handle a team of solution architects and with delivery teams, analyze business needs, and create innovative solutions to optimize system performance and integration.

Role & responsibilities :

Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements using HES, MDM, Prepaid, and Billing Systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop scalable and efficient solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all integration processes.
• Ensure seamless Meter to HES, HES to MDM, MDM to other system, and Prepaid and Billing System integrations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed using HES, MDM, Prepaid, and Billing Systems.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and alignment with business objectives.
• Guide development teams and ensure best practices in system design and architecture.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Extensive experience in Meter to HES, HES to MDM, MDM to Other System, and Prepaid and Billing System Integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Head-End Systems (HES), Meter Data Management (MDM), and Prepaid and Billing Systems.
• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale integrations within the Utilities domain.
• Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Strong experience in troubleshooting and providing technical support for HES, MDM, Prepaid, and Billing applications.

Testing and Validation:

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases to validate DLMS communication functionality and data accuracy.

DLMS Protocol Expertise:

• Deep understanding of the DLMS/COSEM protocol, including data structures, commands, and security mechanisms.

Metering Standards:

• Deep understanding of the IS-Standards and required IEC-Standards.

Network Communication:

• Knowledge of network protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, and potentially serial communication.

Testing and Debugging:

• Proven ability to design and execute test cases, identify and troubleshoot issues in complex systems.

Additional Information:

• The candidate must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in HES, MDM, Prepaid, and Billing System integrations.
• Ideal candidates will have a strong educational background in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• A proven track record of delivering impactful HES, MDM, Prepaid, and Billing System solutions is essential.
• This position is based in Bangalore.

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 12 years of experience is required.

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum 15 years of full-time education
• Degree in Engineering will be a plus.
