Role mission:
Reports to Head of Corporate Technology (dotted line to Chief Customer Officer)
Key Stakeholders: CFO, Chief Customer Officer, Commercial Officer, Exec Head Global Sales
This role will focus on administering and developing Salesforce ServiceCloud applications while collaborating closely with business teams to understand their needs and translate those into effective solutions. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of data and reporting within Salesforce, ensuring that the system is optimized and aligned with business goals. You will be focused on managing and improving data quality and analysis to provide accurate reporting.
You will be instrumental in developing, integrating with third-party systems and promoting the use of the ServiceCloud system with the internal stakeholders. Training and supporting the business to use the system will be a key part of this role to ensure it is integrated into our day-to-day operations and is the source of truth for prospect and customer data.
Responsibilities:
Subject matter expert for best practice implementation and ongoing development and management of our Salesforce ServiceCloud platform ensuring the platform is running efficiently and effectively
Manage user roles, profiles, permissions and access control to ensure secure and appropriate access to data
Be the go-to ServiceCloud person within the business. Provide end-user support, training and documentation to ensure smooth adoption of the platform
Create and maintain workflows and automation processes to streamline operations
Support and optimize ServiceCloud, ensuring agents have the tools and features they need to deliver exceptional customer service
Design, develop and deploy custom solutions within Salesforce ServiceCloud, including custom objects, classes etc.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards per business needs
Perform advanced debugging, troubleshooting and support for ServiceCloud related issues
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate requirements into functional specifications and build scalable solutions
Manage data imports, exports and integration with other systems ensuring seamless data flow between platforms and data integrity including ensuring all Information Security and other technology requirements are accommodated
Work with key stakeholders in the business to harmonise processes, systems, ways of working to ensure solutions meet business need. This includes the Business Development, Marketing, Customer Success, Customer Service and Finance teams
What we re looking for:
Proven experience as a Salesforce ServiceCloud Developer with hands-on experience managing ServiceCloud solutions and developing custom Salesforce functionality
Solid understanding of Salesforce development including declarative solutions, Apex, Visualforce and automation tools like Flows
Experience with Salesforce data management, including data imports/exports, integrations, and reporting
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in Salesforce ServiceCloud solutions
Attention to detail, with an ability to work with large amounts of records, identifying issues and resolutions to manage the data integrity
Well organised and effective time management skills to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once to meet tight deadlines
Project management experience would be advantageous
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work closely and effectively with a diverse group of people and to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships
Competencies in team dynamics by leading and motivating to obtain desired results
