Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary and seasoned Director of Product Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and DevOps to lead and expand our consulting practice in these critical areas. This role involves managing and developing a team of consultants, providing technical expertise to clients, and driving the strategic direction of our consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, cloud engineering, and DevOps, as well as a track record of successful client engagement and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

Consulting Leadership:

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and consultants.
• Cultivate a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Client Engagement:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, technical challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to clients in software engineering, cloud engineering, and DevOps initiatives.

Service Delivery:

• Oversee the successful delivery of consulting services, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.

Software Engineering Consulting:

Technical Expertise:

• Offer deep technical expertise in software development methodologies, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Help clients make informed decisions about technology choices and architectural design.

Solution Design:

• Collaborate with clients to design software solutions that align with their business objectives and technical requirements.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations.

Cloud Engineering Consulting:

Cloud Strategy:

• Work with clients to define cloud strategies, encompassing cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and innovation.

Infrastructure and Security:

• Assist clients in designing, deploying, and securing cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.

DevOps Consulting:

DevOps Strategy:

• Define and implement DevOps strategies that enhance collaboration, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Promote the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Enhance scalability and repeatability through IaC.

DevOps Toolchain:

• Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools and technologies to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.

Business Development:

Client Relationships:

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business, referrals, and client satisfaction.
• Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Market Research:

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in software engineering, cloud computing, and DevOps.
• Identify potential areas for service expansion and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in leadership roles within a consulting practice or similar environment.
• Extensive expertise in software engineering, cloud engineering, and DevOps, with a deep understanding of best practices and industry trends.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Mobile, NC and LC solutions) and related services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Proven track record in client engagement, project management, and team leadership.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
