Job Title: BAU Product Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a BAU Product Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of our Coalition Data Platform applications as we transition into BAU (Business As Usual) delivery mode, following the completion of the build and invest phases. As a part of the Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence, you will contribute to the firm's Digital Transformation agenda and the execution of our Digital Operating Model.

Responsibilities:

Support the successful delivery of a suite of information-based products as the organization undertakes its Digital Transformation agenda.


- Ensure the establishment of efficient processes, appropriate resources, effective systems, and proper governance to execute the product development strategy and scale new products.


- Manage and oversee day-to-day product management operations, working to deliver ongoing BAU product development and launches.


- Take ownership of individual Product Roadmaps, aligning them with the broader product development strategy.


- Drive initiatives to enhance product profitability in line with overall business objectives.


- Manage the product portfolio, ensuring adherence to the defined product management process.


- Collaboratively work to drive sales, profitability, and other business goals for the suite of information-based products.


- Evaluate current processes against product goals, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer value.


- Lead product design, packaging, delivery, and support under the guidance of the Head of Digital Transformation.


- Collaborate with product sponsors to select and tailor the optimal product development approach (agile, waterfall) for different projects.


- Collaborate closely with sales and product management, addressing issues and ensuring alignment.


- Work in close partnership with Technology teams to facilitate successful platform and technical development.


- Develop and monitor metrics for the product portfolio's performance, including individual P&Ls for each product.


- Provide regular reports to Executive Management, focusing on product development progress and key performance indicators (KPIs).


- Participate in expansion activities such as investments, acquisitions, and corporate alliances.


- Manage relationships with partners and vendors, particularly for products involving data sourced via third-party partnerships.


- Play a role in communicating the vision and strategy for product management's contribution to Coalition.


- Foster a culture of customer-focused innovation, establishing processes to consistently understand customer needs.


Qualifications :


- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role within the technology and data-driven product development space.


- Experience in managing a product backlog and interfacing with technology delivery teams.


- Strong understanding of product management methodologies, processes, and strategies.


- Experience with data management best practice techniques, and well as the handling of sensitive/confidential data.


- Demonstrated ability to drive product adoption, profitability, and innovation.


- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.


- Expertise in change management, with a bold and resilient style in driving change, including agile development and management techniques.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.


- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels.


- Outstanding leadership skills, with the capacity to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively.


- Ability to critically problem solve and articulate new solutions effectively.


- Understanding of digital transformation processes and principles.


- Experience in Financial Services or in an FS data provider is a plus.
