Summary:

We are seeking a Legal Head with 8+ years of experience to independently manage the legal function. This individual contributor (IC) role will focus on litigation, compliance, risk management, and grievance handling. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with expertise in corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities:

- Litigation Management: Handle legal disputes, arbitration, and court proceedings efficiently.

- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to corporate regulations, statutory laws, and governance standards.

- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential legal risks across operations.

- Grievance Handling: Manage employee, vendor, and customer grievances with legal solutions.

- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and NDAs.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with business teams and external legal counsel as needed.

- Process Improvements: Develop legal frameworks and policies to streamline operations and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

Education: LLB or equivalent law degree; additional qualifications (LLM or CS) are a plus.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of legal experience with expertise in litigation, compliance, and risk management.

Skills: Strong knowledge of corporate law, dispute resolution, and contract management.

Competency: Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in technology, logistics, or related sectors is preferred.
