Job Description

Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Legal Manager - Land Acquisition to join our team in Mumbai. If you have a strong background in legal compliance and risk management, then we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Advise on legal matters related to land acquisition (commercial and agricultural land), leasing, and property transactions.

- Conduct due diligence on land properties to assess legal risks and compliance with applicable laws.

- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including lease agreements, purchase agreements, and other contracts related to land and property.

- Provide legal support in land disputes, representing the company in negotiations and legal proceedings as necessary.

- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to land transactions and property management, including adherence to the RERA Act.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers and real estate teams, to align legal strategies with business objectives.

- Stay updated on changes in land laws and regulations, advising the company on necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.

- Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies regarding land and property management.

Requirements

- Minimum [8 years] of experience in land and property law.

- Strong knowledge of land acquisition processes, land leasing, and property transactions.

- Familiarity with the RERA Act and other relevant land laws.

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Proven ability to manage complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
