Senior DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (6-15 yrs)

We are seeking a devops professional with 5+ years of total experience. This role is a perfect fit for an individual coming with a strong hands on experience on AWS and Terraform.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers and IT professionals to guarantee smooth deployment, automation and management of software infrastructure.

- Consulting with management on the operational requirements of software solutions.

- Contributing expertise on information system options, risk, and operational impact.

- Mentoring junior software developers in gaining experience and assuming DevOps responsibilities.

- Managing the installation and configuration of solutions.

- Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests.

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple software applications and environments.

- Create and maintain monitoring systems to guarantee high availability and performance for software applications.

- Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.

- Manage and enhance cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

- Automating software deployment, configuration, and upkeep processes

- Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them.

- Conforming to best practices in network administration and cybersecurity.

- Design and implement IaC solutions to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure

- Troubleshoot and resolve IaC-related issues

- Stay up-to-date on the latest IaC tools and technologies.

Requirements and Skills :

- Graduate/post-graduate degree in Computer Science or related field

- With 5+ years proven experience as an IaC Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or related role.

- Extensive experience in DevOps engineering, team management, and collaboration.

- Acquaintance with software development processes and methodologies

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Experience with continuous integration/delivery tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI would be advantageous

- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP

- Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell or Ruby.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

- Familiarity with configuration management and orchestration tools.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or CloudFormation.

- Understanding of Agile and DevOps principles and their application in infrastructure automation.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack is essential.

- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services, including virtualization, networking, and storage.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
