Job Description: HR Operations and Global Payroll
Role: HR Operations and Global Payroll
Location: Mumbai/Bengaluru
Work Model: Hybrid (2 days from office, depending on business requirements)
Shift: Primarily US hours, with flexibility for global shifts
Regions Focused: US & UK (Global payroll experience required for these regions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations and global payroll for multiple regions, particularly the US and UK.
- Manage high-volume payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery for a large workforce.
- Implement payroll controls such as Input vs Output, Penny testing, mass uploads, and minimum wage rate compliance.
- Ensure seamless processing of employee exits and incorporate exits into payroll.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors and manage vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle payroll for multiple countries concurrently, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Lead transformation projects to streamline and optimize payroll operations at a global scale.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any payroll discrepancies and issues with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Support the global payroll team and ensure processes are scalable and efficient.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Extensive hands-on payroll operations experience, with in-depth knowledge of payroll systems, processes, and controls.
- Proven experience managing large-scale payroll operations catering to a high-volume workforce.
- Strong understanding of payroll control mechanisms such as penny testing, mass uploads, and wage rate regulations.
- Prior experience working with and managing payroll vendors.
- Ability to manage and execute payroll for multiple countries simultaneously.
- Experience in managing large operations, preferably with global payroll expertise.
- Experience in leading and executing transformation projects within payroll operations.
- Should not just have team handling experience; must be an expert in payroll operations.

- This role is not for project management profiles but for someone who has extensive hands-on experience and understands the real-world complexities of global payroll operations.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
- Flexibility to work in global shifts.
