Team Manager - Internal Audit - SOX - CA (5-10 yrs)

Team Manager - CA Qualified - Internal Audit - SOX - 5+ Years - Bangalore

We are looking for a qualified accountant (CA) with at least 5 years of experience in SOX Audit, Testing, and Internal Audit. In addition to a fundamental understanding of COSO and risk assessment practices.

Location- Bangalore

Responsibilities:

1. Plan implement, coordinate, and execute all phases of SOX testing compliance process (including leading walkthroughs, identifying/validating key controls, developing testing procedures, execute and document testing, reporting results to management).

2. Manage updates to process documentation and control matrices for existing SOX processes and assist in the preparation and review of documentation for new processes.

3. Perform reviews over SOX deliverables (including testing support and process documentation) of junior resources to ensure work paper documentation standards are consistent with quality expectation.

4. Partner with stakeholders to consult on remediation conditions for SOX control deficiencies and perform independent validation of management's action plans for issue closure.

5. Ensuring quality deliverables, including conclusions on internal control effectiveness and impact of control deficiencies.

6. Identifying automation opportunities of SOX planning and testing activities.

7. Implementing data analytics in SOX testing using the risk environment and interdependencies within multiple business processes.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Accountant (CA) is required.

2. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in public accounting and/or industry dealing with SOX Key Control testing (Big 4 experience highly desired).

3. Basic understanding of professional audit standards, COSO, SOX, and risk assessment practices.
