The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Vice President - Operations to lead and drive all aspects of our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and collections operations.
This critical role will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, managing onshore centers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Operations Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies that align with the overall business objectives and drive operational excellence.
- Oversee all aspects of RCM operations, including patient collections, insurance billing, AR & Denial Management (both voice and non-voice).
- Lead and manage onshore operations centers, ensuring optimal team performance and service delivery.
- Conduct operational due diligence for new prospective clients, assessing their needs and evaluating potential risks.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Continuously analyze and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance revenue cycle performance.
- Develop and implement innovative process improvements across all operational functions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing their needs proactively.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and develop customized solutions.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposals.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operations professionals.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify areas for professional growth and development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Business Development & Expansion:
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Develop and manage proposals, RFP responses, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Participate in industry events and conferences to expand the company's network and market reach.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing and leading high-performing operations teams.
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of the RCM process, including patient registration, insurance verification, claims submission, AR follow-up, and denials management.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, coding guidelines (ICD-10, CPT), and payer contracts.
- Experience in managing onshore operations centers and leading remote teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
