General Manager Sales and Marketing

SMC Foods Limited ( Madhusudan ) is seeking a Sales Head for the North East region. Candidates with experience working with dairy products (dairy whitener, Gulab jamun mixture, fresh cream, UHT Milk ect.) will be given priority. Alternatively, candidates with experience working with reputable FMCG companies will also be considered.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for dairy products.
• Manage key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and build relationships with new customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products and promotions.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales decisions.
• Provide leadership coaching and guidance to junior team members.
• Candidate should be able to travel for at least 20 days in a month. The candidate will be required to footwork in the market with the team to establish a foothold in areas where the company does not have an existing sale infrastructure.

• The candidate must have in-depth geographical knowledge of Assam, Odisha & North East regions.

• The candidate should be able to drive existing sales growth.
