Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a 1st Level Operations professional. This job role is responsible for monitoring, coordination, support, management, and execution of reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. Mostly application/infrastructure monitoring!
You will,
Support the following systems and functions:
Monitor production system ensure its performance and stability
Action on issues reported by L1/monitoring teams. Coordinate with L3/vendor team for restoration of any faults
Resolve Trouble Tickets - Resolve day to day customer issues
Coordinate with IT/network teams to resolve any operational or functional issues
Be responsible for answering adhoc requests from various teams
Analyze the Logs and try resolving the issues, escalate issues well in advance and suggest alternative approaches
Deploy CRs on production environments and ensure smooth system performance
Follow ITIL processes and exhibit expertise in Incident, Problem and change management
Ensure SLA compliance for application and trouble tickets
Proactively carry out self assessment and competence development in new solution areas certifications
Provide an effective 360-degree feedback on the ailing elements in the current solution and co-ordinate with Design team/L3/ Vendor to fix them
Participate and will drive the Requirements gathering, high-level and low-level design.
Participate in meetings with customers/MA project team on solution issues.
Troubleshooting API failures using Tibco Administrator, TIBCO Logs.
Participate in solving support issues/change requests in the support phase
Follow configuration and release management processes.
Carry out root cause analysis of incidents
Ensure near zero sev 1\2 incidents on the EAI stack in operations support projects
Carry out deployments inline with the MOPs / SOPs
Ensure system uptime and optimal performance by monitoring and carrying out BAU Activities like housekeeping, healthcheck and alert monitoring.
Manage TIBCO domains using domain utility
Manage EMS server for TIBCO environment
Manage Hawk instances for creating new alerts / optimizing existing alerts to make the system more robust and intuitive.
To be successful in this role, you must have / should be able to:
Hands-on experience on EAI (Enterprise Applications Integration) - TIBCO
EMS (Enterprise Messaging Service)
Business Works 5.11 or above
Experienced on 3 Tier architecture with TIBCO as the middleware
Hands-on ability to churn out logs \ reports etc. from Oracle DB using SQL.
Hands on with TIBCO Hawk rules creation and maintenance
Experience in web application development and support
Hands on with XML, JSON, Web Service technologies (SOAP, REST).
Able to code and unit test in conformance to standards and design specifications using TIBCO BW 5.11 or above.
Understand the functionality and prepare unit test, system test and acceptance test plans AND be able to understand the functionality and review system test plans, their records submitted by developer team to accept or reject a change based on the completeness of testing
Participate and drive design review and code review.
Participate in installation, integration and User Acceptance testing
Handle change requests related to the solution as per the set process following ITIL standards.
Carry out impact analysis of requirements in CRs
Provide estimations for CRs based on impact analysis.
Carry out Shell scripting Automation for mundane repetitive jobs.
Manage and administer Apache Tomcat webservers
Should have strong learning and time management skills
Must be a team player capable of working independently
Must have good communication skills
Should be willing to work in 24*7 environment
Some Good to have Skills:
ITIL Certification
Prior experience in integrating CRM based solutions (Siebel, Salesforce etc)
App dynamics or alike monitoring tools experience
Key Qualifications:
Education: Graduate in Computer Science or similar
Minimum years of relevant experience: 5-7 years into TIBCO development / Administration
