Engineer- IP

About this opportunity:

We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our Ericsson team as an Engineer - (IP - Multivendor - Switch Router). This critical role belongs to our Managed Services department, directly contributing to our ongoing Ericsson Operations Engine projects. You will be at the forefront of tech-driven change, offering your specialist knowledge to guide the entire lifecycle of our projects. Whether we are in the Create, Sustain, or Evolve stages, your expertise will pave the way forward in your domain.

What you will do:

Actively Monitoring of ITSM Ticket queues to maintain the MTTR.
Alarm analysis, Operation-maintenance, troubleshooting Change Request Implementation on IP Core (Routers Firewall) IP RAN nodes (Routers, Switches).
Analytical skills like logical thinking, Problem solving handling assignments are mandatory.
Trouble Ticket analysis and resolution of trouble tickets raised by Customer / L1 Teams. Fault management on all routers and switches equipment and follow up with support in case of escalated cases.
Identify root cause of P2/P3/P4 Incidents and recommend appropriate resolution action and other events that Customer identify as requiring Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
First point of contact for support of any alarm/event/KPI related issues.
Close Collaboration with Field Team for all field activities (Hardware failures, Node unreachable etc.).
Ensure timely restoration of Services to maintain the MTTR for good customer experience high Service availability to maintain the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Proactive involvement to detect possible failures to ensure incident restoration/avoidance whenever engagement by Incident Manager or MS Automated Service Function.
Node health checks and backups troubleshoot the deviation identified.
Sharing details for MIR CSR to respective teams.
End to End Network Understanding.

The skills you bring:

Good knowledge in IP Networking Protocols like OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, LDP, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD.
Good knowledge in Switching VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP.
Telecom knowledge (2G, 3G, 4G Service Flow Interfaces).
Product/Vendor knowledge on Ericsson/ Nokia / Cisco / Juniper/Huawei/F5 (At least any two).
Good Communication troubleshooting skills.
3-6 years of relevant in IP Domain.
