Profile Summary :
The VOIP/PBX Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's VOIP and PBX systems. The role requires expertise in configuring and troubleshooting VOIP systems, with a strong understanding of network engineering, including LAN, WAN, and firewalls. The specialist will ensure system performance, security, and integration with third-party platforms like CRM systems.
With at least 5 years of experience, the candidate should be proficient in SIP protocol and possess hands-on experience with systems such as Asterisk, Cisco Call Manager, or Free PBX. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams for feature implementations and maintaining compliance with industry security standards.
Key Skills & Qualifications :
- VOIP and PBX Expertise : Experience in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting VOIP and PBX systems.
- SIP Protocol Knowledge : Expertise in Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) used in VOIP communication.
- Network Engineering Skills : Proficiency in network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and firewalls, which are critical for VOIP performance.
- Experience with Specific Systems : Familiarity with PBX or VOIP platforms (e.g., Asterisk, Cisco Call Manager, Free PBX).
- Integration Capabilities : Ability to integrate PBX/VOIP systems with CRM tools or other third-party software.
- Security Best Practices : In-depth knowledge of VOIP and network security, including encryption and firewall configuration.
- Support and Maintenance : Proven experience in monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support and upgrades.
