So, what s the job
You ll adhere to the company s quality assurance processes and methodologies
You ll develop and document testing requirements from appropriate sources such as Business Requirement Specifications and User Stories
You ll identify defects and track them until completion using the Test management tool JIRA
You ll develop test cases for functional, integration and end-to-end system and performance testing
You ll ensure test accuracy is maintained through to software release
You ll automate and execute test scripts using Playwright (Java-script) or Selenium
You ll work closely with Test & Quality Lead and Senior Test & Quality Analysts to understand and prioritise upcoming work.
You ll actively participate in team ceremonies, including Stand-ups/scrum meetings, Backlog Grooming, Retrospectives and Sprint planning
You ll provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers within company guidelines, regulatory obligations and SLA s.
You ll ensure all contact and interactions are of the highest standards, communicating clearly and appropriately to all stakeholders
You ll collaborate and provide regular reporting and updates with key stakeholders across the Cover-More Group
You ll contribute proactively to the teams achievement of performance targets in collaboration with the Team Leader including service expectations, productivity, achievement of KPIs, behavioural expectations, and general operational performance and compliance.
And what are we looking for
You ll have 5+ years of experience as a Test & Quality Analyst
You ll have proficiency of RESTful APIs and UI components to ensure functionality, reliability, and integration across platforms.
You ll have strong experience with TOSCA, Playwright, or similar testing frameworks, including the ability to design and maintain automated test cases.
You ll have proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or C# with the ability to write and maintain scripts for test automation and framework enhancements.
You ll have solid understanding of performance and security testing principles and experience with relevant tools.
You ll have strong experience with test management and reporting tools to effectively track test cases, defects, and testing progress.
You ll have strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to ensure thorough testing coverage and issue detection.
You ll have ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions to ensure quality standards are met.
You ll have experience with International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB/ISEB)Management using JIRA
You ll have proficiency in API Testing using Postman
