Job Descprition: Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, QinQ, VLAN, etc.)
Should have 2 years work experience on ISP side.
Must have good knowledge of Firewalls and Firewall related configurations.
Perform network maintenance and OS upgrades including Switch and router OS, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning including all devices related to DC.
Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues in minimum restoration time.
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Establish a working relationship with vendors and related IT personnel for problem resolution.
Inform alerts to respective managers and team leaders.
Preventive maintenance of all network-related equipment services and get it done for other equipment with respective managers.
Support Field Support Engineers to rectify access network issues and customer issues.
Coordinate with L1 and L2 teams for reducing the restoration time of each incident.
Responsible for managing and maintaining distribution and access networks.
Required Skills: Must have 2 years work experience on ISP side.
Experience in switches (Juniper, Huawei, Cisco, and other vendors) Experience in OPTICAL Distribution networks is preferable
Deep understanding of network protocols (VPN, QinQ, 802.11, STP, ERPS, MAC, ARP, OPTICAL NETWORKS, etc.)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics
Bachelors Degree in IT-related is highly valued.
CCNP or Higher in routing Switch or SP is more preferred.
