Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with 3-8 years of experience to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. This includes working with firewalls, switches, access points, VPNs, and network monitoring systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Firewall Management:

• Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls.
• Set up failover and load balancing.
• Understand and configure QoS and firewall policies.
• Manage static routes, policy routes, virtual IPs, and port forwarding.
• Configure and monitor security policies and VPNs.
• Implement user access control policies.

Network Devices Management:

• Configure and manage Cisco switches and Aruba/Cisco access points.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network device issues.
• Perform software updates and patching for network devices.
• Backup and recovery of network devices.

Server Management:

• Configure and manage DHCP, DNS, and Syslog servers.
• Manage Nagios servers for network monitoring.
• Administer syslog servers, reviewing logs and alerts for proactive issue resolution.

Network Operations:

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with ISP vendors for effective management of SIP and PRI lines.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams.
• Prepare periodic reports on network health and performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and firewall policies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and Aruba/Cisco access points.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and configuration.
• Experience in configuring DHCP/DNS/Syslog and Nagios servers.
• Familiarity with ISP vendor coordination and SIP/PRI line management.
• Ability to analyze logs and alerts for network security and performance.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
• Prior experience in managing medium to large-scale network environments.
