Job Overview :

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer with expertise in testing Lending systems, specifically in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS). The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on experience in testing LOS applications, along with a solid foundation in the Lending domain. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of mission-critical lending applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Planning & Strategy : Develop test plans and strategies specific to Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS), ensuring they align with business requirements and technical specifications.

Test Design & Execution : Design and execute functional, regression, performance, and integration test cases for LOS/LMS applications, ensuring that they meet quality standards.

Automation : Implement and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing using tools like Selenium or other relevant frameworks.

Defect Management : Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA), and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and validate solutions.

Manual Testing : Perform hands-on manual testing when needed, ensuring full test coverage of both LOS and LMS applications.

Performance Testing : Conduct performance testing to ensure the system handles high transaction volumes and meets the performance benchmarks for loan processing.

Test Reporting & Documentation : Document test plans, test cases, test results, and defect logs clearly, ensuring transparency in test execution and defect resolution.

Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, automation frameworks, and overall test coverage to enhance the quality of the lending applications.

Required Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience :

- 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in testing Loan Origination Systems (LOS) applications.

- In-depth understanding of the Lending domain and workflows related to Loan Origination and Loan Management.

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, or other relevant frameworks.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, or similar for automation.

- Experience with database testing (SQL) for validating application data.

- Knowledge of web services testing (REST/SOAP) and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.).

- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.

- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in testing Loan Management Systems (LMS).

- Knowledge of financial services industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).

- Exposure to cloud-based testing tools or environments (AWS, Azure).
