Responsibilities:
Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify target demographics, understand consumer behaviour, and assess competitors' strategies.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and industry developments to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
Product Positioning and Messaging:
- Develop clear and compelling value propositions for products or services based on market insights.
- Craft messaging that effectively communicates the unique features, benefits, and competitive advantages of the product to the target audience.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and marketing to develop comprehensive go-to-market plans.
- Define product launch strategies, pricing strategies, and distribution channels to maximize product adoption and revenue generation.
Marketing Collateral Creation:
- Create marketing materials such as sales presentations, product guides, datasheets, case studies, and whitepapers to support sales efforts and educate customers about the product's value proposition.
Campaign Development and Execution:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, advertising, and events.
- Develop targeted campaigns to generate leads, drive product awareness, and support sales efforts.
Sales Enablement:
- Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell the product.
- Develop sales enablement materials including pitch decks, competitive battle cards, and product training sessions to empower sales representatives.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies, improve ROI, and drive continuous improvement.
Customer Feedback and Insights:
- Gather feedback from customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to understand product satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and uncover new opportunities for product innovation or expansion.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, and other teams to align product development, marketing, and sales efforts.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships to ensure a cohesive approach to product marketing and go-to- market activities.
Industry Thought Leadership:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments.
- Establish the company as a thought leader in the industry through content marketing, thought leadership initiatives, and participation in industry events and conferences.
- Overall, an AD Product Marketing plays a pivotal role in driving the success of a product by effectively positioning it in the market, developing targeted marketing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, Computer Science, B.Sc., or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in an executive support role or similar position.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in project management.
- Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software.
- Knowledge of the company's industry and business operations.
