I have been a part of the company for 6 years (closing in on 7). Its a highly ambitious firm with start-up culture at its core. We want to move, fail and succeed extremely fast. Work and life at Corporate Gurukul ain't a regular 9-5 job. The only way to survive here is to own up every single thing you do. The day you don't - you fail. The learning curve is steep. I was setting the sales target for my region and designing new products when my peers were getting their targets and memorizing product pitches. There are very few examples around you to draw comparisons. The grass does momentarily seem greener on the other side, but then you see your incentives :) I did witness a lot of failures and was asked to go back to the drawing board to reevaluate every single time, but never spoon-fed. It's about learning and doing something new every day. Work and success at CG is a marathon and not a sprint. Witnessing all the above (and reaping their benefits) took 3 years. It didn't happen in 3-6 months. I have undergone two major personal transitions while working here - marriage and motherhood. I had immense support to take up the roles of a wife and a mom not just from the management but colleagues as well. My salary currently is at least 20% more than my peers working in other industries which is always credited by 2nd (if not 1st) of every month. It was a great learning experience. I was able to dabble in different roles, so the exposure I attained was immense.

Work/Task assigned was ad hoc at times but upon addressing it to management, that got better as well.

At CG I worked as a business leader where I had the opportunity to handle multiple functions. I got to explore new avenues and constantly learn on a go-forward basis. Overall it was a great experience for me.

CG is one of the most innovative companies I have worked with. The buck stops with you. Period. If you are a high performer and someone with high energy and drive, CG is the perfect place to work. It is all about meritrocracy and delivering to the T. International travel to Singapore and Dubai, at least till pre-COVID times, was a huge bonus for all employees. The Founder and CEO is a true visionary with a lot of passion for student development. He is very high on work ethic, discipline and attention to details. You can either love him or hate him. Constant change and innovation can be really stressful for the average corporate candidates who try their hand in entrepreneurial culture. This culture is not for the faint hearted. I loved it because creating innovative products has been my passion and I had a lot of freedom at that.

This is a really nice place to work. Very innovative, high on passion, energy, qualty and discipline. Chalta hai attiude just doesn't work in CG. When brands like NUS, NTU, Softbank, HPE, Amazon, IITs, BITS Pilani, etc trust you, high performance and quality of work is surely a top priority. We have global ambitions and should get there in 2021. I was a bit surprised with some negative reviews and later figured out that they were all well orchestrated and given the same day by 4 ex-employees who were told to move on due to non-performance. They were in CG for over a year and failed to perform for 4 quarters in a row, were on PIP before they were asked to move on. So do take it with a pinch of salt. Otherwise, an absolutely superb environment, with a lot of freedom to create and excute processes. The ownership of every individual is really high. Targets in sales and business are steep since we are planning to double revenues every year. Nothing to dislike except that employee's role definitions could be a bit more structured. Employees dabble in multiple roles.

It has got a very motivating entrepreneurial culture. There is a lot of freedom to take initiative and experiment. There is exposure and hands-on learning across multiple functions. It is high in learning agility. You have to master brand new stuff in days, not weeks. As a fresher, you can take up leadership roles in 2 years, not decades.

Chaos, speed, and aggression can be a huge put off. You have to find your way through chaos. Else you can't survive. Those who joined from structured corporate had a huge challenge fitting into the culture and left in months.

1. Oh! looks like the reviews reached the right person. Great and to counter that the CEO and MD himself started writing, in anonymous, LOL, five star reviews. You know that you're writing this yourself, that's why you couldn't reveal your identity. Sad! for a WORLD CLASS entity. 2. Yes, all the NEGATIVE reviews were given on the same day coz nobody till now spoke about Corporate Gurukul and coz of that many of my colleagues and friends suffered. All of them had this kind of terrible experience that they even ignored to talk about it. 3. People should know the reality before joining this worst company ever. You might be a millionaire now, congrats, by charging twice the fees (more than 60% profit margin, btw)! paying peanuts salaries with double-triple work load and but i really hope KARMA hits back! and show what you have done to the lives of people. 4. Worst part is that till now you don't even realize that it's all your fault and that's why nobody stick with this company for more than 6 months or a year. Please stop looting people/employees with you big fancy words. 6. All the 5 star reviews, salary hike, growth, international trips, leadership roles (lol, just ask how many of them were moved to top management), bonus, founders vision etc. etc. all big lies, fake and a SCAM! 7. No perks, no PF, no insurance, no form 16, literally nothing except tension, heavy work load, abuses! Just imagine the kind of experience we all (last 6 years) have been through that we had to go through this again to write all this out and revisit the bad times again!
