Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for the procurement of materials, goods, and services at competitive prices and within a specified timeframe. The role involves managing the purchase process from supplier selection to order placement, ensuring the company gets the best value for its purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management: Identify and establish relationships with new suppliers and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers.
• Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders (POs) and ensure that all relevant details are included, such as pricing, quantity, and delivery dates.
• Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining product quality.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to maintain stock levels based on the demand forecast.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to ensure competitive pricing.
• Delivery & Quality Control: Ensure timely delivery of products/materials and inspect the quality of goods upon arrival.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all purchases, transactions, and supplier contracts.
• Compliance & Policies: Ensure that all purchases comply with internal policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
