We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work at Height Expert / Scaffolding Inspector / Scaffold to join our team and contribute to our ongoing power plant construction projects.

Job Purpose

The Work at Height Expert will play a critical role in overseeing and implementing safe work practices during height-related activities at construction sites. This includes providing guidance on safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor work-at-height safety plans specific to power plant construction projects.
• Conduct site safety audits and risk assessments for all height-related activities.
• Supervise and guide workers to ensure safe practices while working at elevated levels.
• Deliver training and toolbox talks on work-at-height safety procedures and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Investigate and report any incidents or near misses related to height work, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Recommend and oversee the usage of fall protection systems and safety equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address site-specific challenges.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Certifications: IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association), GWO (Global Wind Organisation), or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in work-at-height safety management, preferably in construction or power plant projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fall protection systems, PPE, and safety equipment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to train and influence teams effectively.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA, ISO 45001, and local labor laws.
• Ability to travel and work on-site across multiple locations.
