Certification Required

• IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) Certification
• Certified Rescuer
• Certified Work at Height Expert
• Certified Rope Acess Technician

Qualification:

• Diploma or B.E in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Certification from CITB, STI, TUV, or IRATA for Level 2.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fall protection programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and inspections for height work activities.
• Supervise scaffolding and height-related operations.
• Train workers and supervisors on height safety protocols.
• Certify workers and supervisors for working at heights.
• Review and approve method statements for height operations.
• Monitor use of fall protection systems and PPE compliance.
• Conduct emergency rescue drills for working at heights.
• Investigate height-related incidents and recommend solutions.
• Ensure compliance with national and international safety standards.
• Inspect and certify anchor points, lifelines, and safety harnesses.
• Implement behavior-based safety practices for height work.
• Maintain documentation of inspections and training records.
• Provide technical advice on height safety equipment selection.
• Coordinate with contractors for height work safety compliance.
