Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
  • Perform risk assessments and create mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Supervise and guide HSE teams across multiple areas.
  • Conduct training programs for employees on safety protocols.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance metrics.
  • Review and approve method statements and job safety analysis.
  • Perform incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for safety compliance.
  • Conduct safety audits and recommend improvements.
  • Manage emergency response plans and drills.
  • Oversee PPE compliance and inspection protocols.
  • Develop frameworks for continuous safety improvement programs.
  • Facilitate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise in hazard identification and control measures.
  • Implement and monitor behavior-based safety systems.
  • Establish and maintain HSE documentation systems.
  • Conduct HSE meetings and toolbox talks regularly.
  • Ensure reporting and recording of near-miss incidents.
  • Develop safety promotional campaigns to improve safety culture.
  • Design and deliver training programs for supervisors and engineers.
  • Develop course materials, presentations, and training manuals.
  • Assess training needs and customize programs accordingly.
  • Conduct workshops, boot camps, and seminars.
  • Evaluate participants through tests and practical assessments.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching.
  • Train employees on hazard identification and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards through training modules.
  • Organize mock drills and emergency response exercises.
  • Keep records of training activities and certifications.
  • Develop competency-building programs for supervisors.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and provide feedback.
  • Coordinate with HSE managers to align training goals with site requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into training.
  • Assist in implementing behavior-based safety programs.
  • Facilitate communication between trainers and field teams.
  • Conduct refresher training programs periodically.
  • Support audits by providing relevant training records.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Develop online modules and e-learning programs.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Training and mentoring experience.
  • Proficient in technical safety protocols.
