Rigging & Lifting Expert

Qualification:

• Diploma or B.E in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Certification from LEEA, LOLER, or equivalent.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and approve critical lifting plans.
• Inspect rigging equipment and lifting tools.
• Supervise rigging activities and ensure compliance.
• Train and certify riggers and crane operators.
• Conduct load testing and stability analysis.
• Oversee heavy lifting operations and ensure proper procedures.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and certification validity.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective measures.
• Maintain records of inspections and certifications.
• Perform hazard identification and risk analysis.
• Coordinate with contractors for heavy lifting plans.
• Implement emergency response procedures.
• Provide technical support for lifting activities.
• Verify proper signaling and communication during lifts.
