.Net Core C# developer (web services development)

Location: Pune (Hinjewadi phase - 1)

Job Type: Full-Time

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core framework
• Expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API
• Knowledge of Entity Framework Core for database interactions
• Understanding of API security best practices (authentication, authorization)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit)
• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git)

Key responsibilities include:

• API Design and Development:
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API framework. 
• Define API endpoints, data models, and response structures. 
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth, JWT, or similar protocols. 
• Leverage dependency injection and design patterns for maintainable code. 
• C# Programming:
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C# code to build API functionalities. 
• Utilize advanced C# features like async/await, LINQ, and lambda expressions. 
• Database Integration:
• Interact with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) using Entity Framework Core to manage data access. 
• Implement data validation and error handling mechanisms. 
• Testing and Debugging:
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure API functionality and stability. 
• Debug API issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes. 
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with front-end developers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions. 
• Document API specifications and maintain API documentation. 
• Performance Optimization:
• Monitor API performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve response times. 
• Utilize caching mechanisms to enhance API efficiency. 
• Cloud Deployment:
• Deploy APIs to cloud platforms like Azure App Service or AWS.
