Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
- Prepare comprehensive BOM proposals based on customer requirements, technical specifications, and project scope.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Prepare quotations for biogas compressors, after coolers, discharge scrubber and other components at market driven prices while meeting the company profitability, quality standards and customer delivery requirements.
Cost Estimation and Analysis:
- Analyze project requirements to provide accurate cost estimations.
- Proficient in designing and estimating complex gas systems and preparing proposals for biogas compression.
- Assist in pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
Technical Evaluation:
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and related documents to create proposals.
- Design Balance of Plant (BOP) solutions, like methane purification skids, H2S removal skids, blower skids.
- Prepare estimates, recommendations, design modifications, exceptions to customer specifications, and other pertinent data required to satisfy customer requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to validate technical feasibility and availability of materials.
Coordination and Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between sales, engineering, and operations to ensure proposals are accurate and meet all requirements.
- Address and resolve any queries or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Evaluate inquires and create formal proposals for Outside Sales Team, contractors, and end-users.
- Maintain and update a repository of standard BOM templates and proposal documents.
- Prepare periodic reports on proposal status, success rates, and areas for improvement.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance proposal preparation processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for the proposal function.
Project Execution:
- Driving Project Execution activities at Internal or External Workshops
- Monitoring and Controlling the project execution
Customer Interaction (as applicable):
- Support sales teams in technical discussions with customers as needed.
- Address customer queries related to proposals in a professional and timely manner.
