Electrical Design Manager

Role & responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead our panel design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and execution of electrical control panels, power distribution panels, and automation panels while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Lead and manage the electrical design team for control panels, MCCs, PCCs, and distribution boards.

• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout designs using CAD software like AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, and other relevant industry standards.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and project teams for seamless execution.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Optimize panel designs for cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Evaluate new technologies and improve design processes.

Preferred candidate profile

✅ Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
✅ 4+ years of experience in electrical panel design & manufacturing.
✅ Strong expertise in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical.
✅ In-depth knowledge of electrical components, circuits, and protection systems.
✅ Experience in PLC-based control systems is a plus.
✅ Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team.
✅ Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
