Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Design: Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD.
• System Development: Design and specify electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and energy-efficient solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, bill of materials (BOM), and design specifications.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Cost Optimization: Evaluate designs for cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CAD software, simulation tools, and design platforms.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to perform load calculations, circuit analysis, and design validation.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve design-related challenges efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision in design work and documentation.
• Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in designing for industrial automation, renewable energy systems, or building services.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment such as Relay test kits, Meggars and Multimeter.
• Certifications in design standards/ related to designing is an advantage.
