Electrical Draftsman

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Meetings with the clients and D&E team members to determine the project design scope and requirements.

2. Conducting Site Studies to determine power requirements and load flow.

3. Estimating the required power consumption needs.

4. Electrical Designing for the projects.

5. Defining HT System Requirements and preparation of Single Line Diagrams accordingly.

6. Awareness of Electrical Safety Rules and Requirements of Electrical Safety across the sites.

7. Awareness of High Voltage Independent Feeder Voltage requirements across sites.

8. Defining the power control centers for power flow for the projects.

9. Defining motor control centers for control of electrical motors / equipment.

10. Defining sizing of transformers.

11. Creating Electrical Power Flow Diagrams.

12. Creating RFQs for HT, LT packages, transformers, DG sets and equipment / accessories required for smooth and safe power flow on projects.

13. Creating Load Schedules & Cable Schedules.

14. Creating Layout drawings for earthing

15. Defining lighting requirements for project sites

16. Creating RFQs for project lighting

17. Ensuring that all electrical plans meet the standards and also regulatory & safety requirements.

18. Inspection & Testing of installed electrical systems across project sites.

19. Resolving all electrical planning & designing issues.

20. Ensuring that commissioning of electrical systems on sites are as per designs & timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferred Educational Qualification

A Diploma/ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with min 8 yrs

Preferred Experience Requirements

1. Experience in electrical designing of electrical loads up to 5000KVA or more.

2. Fully Proficiency with AutoCAD software. Knowledge of Dialux lighting software
