Senior Engineer -Estimator

Duties and Responsibilities

A. Roles and responsibilities for the estimator position(civil & structural)

1. • Estimate preparation based on available previous projects data and drawings of civil & structural.
2. • Calculation of major deviations as per actual drawings released for the project
3. • Explanation to site team for any misunderstanding and provide the resolution to the queries.
4. • Assist the site team for preparing the deviation statement from the estimated quantity at the beginning of the project.
5. • Assist in finalization of technical specification for new extra items for the project.
6. • Assist the procurement/site team for finding specialised vendors related to technical civil work like waterproofing/grouting.
7. • Site visit for any new sites & preparation of feasibility report.

B .Roles and responsibilities for the VPM team

1. • Periodically site visit for audit of civil work billing & checking the quality documents for the civil & structural works done at the site.
2. • Part of Negotiation team for item rate.

Preferred Educational Qualification

A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with min 5 yrs

Preferred Experience Requirements

1. Proficiency with AutoCAD software.
