Control Risks - Power Platform Subject Matter Expert - MS Dynamics (3-7 yrs)

About the job :

To provide the technical, functional and governance expertise of the Microsoft's Power Platform with focus on enhancing the performance, efficiency and capability of the Control Risks business. This role will provide advice and guidance to citizen developers as well as help in governance and application review for best practices in terms of security, cost and usage

The role requires strong communication to non-technical audience and the holder needs to be able to work at a strategic level as well as have hands on tactical and operational skills to define work and trouble shoot / resolve issues in an effective way

What You'll Do :

- Develop and govern the Power Platform development framework to facilitate 3rd party and internal 'champions' based development, delivery and ongoing maintenance of Power Apps for Control Risks in a controlled manner

- Work closely with the D365 Solution Architect and Technical Delivery Manager to oversee and govern the design and delivery of Power Platform initiatives.

- Ensure alignment to MS Dynamics product best practices, standards and supported configurations

- Ensure all Power Apps development is undertaken in accordance with the Power Platform development framework

- Develop low code & no code standards and patterns for Power Apps developers, including a robust governance model

- Provide advice and guidance (including governance) to the wider audience on the enhancements to the solutions as necessary

- Supporting others within DTS to deliver the message to help inspire the business through demonstrations of the possibilities of Power Platform and its wider capabilities / integration to meet Control Risks needs and strategic ambitions

- Explore the functionality of AI tools including Co Pilot and capture use cases within Control Risks and advise on the approach and implementation

- Advise the business/internal customers on best practices for Power Platform processes, user interface and architecture

- Outline and capture best practices on Power Platform environments and rationalisation including administration

- Drive innovation and assist in the development of solutions that improve the efficiency and capability of Power Platform users

- Work with other teams on ad hoc projects as a SME utilisation resource from the Enterprise Apps team to complete project tasks on time and within budget

- Assist in major platform releases (upgrades) with regression testing and work with the business to arrange functional tests

- Provide support as necessary/relevant

- Resolve tickets and issues raised by Business Teams in accordance with internal service levels, processes, and procedures (L3/L4 Support)

- Help and provide guidance with training SMEs in areas specific to their BAU activities

- Work with the business SME's, help with knowledge, answer questions, drive a knowledge base, and sign-post appropriate training to support upskilling

- Help with D365-CE initiatives including design, configuration and enhancements

Who You are :

- 3+ years of development and extensions using the Power Platform: Canvas driven Apps, Model driven Apps, Flow, Power Virtual Agent, Dataverse & SharePoint based solutions

- Experience on D365-Customer Engagement

- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years relevant work experience

- Proven experience in business analysis with organisations of various size and complexity is an advantage

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Business process mapping and optimisation: experience leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimisation strategies

- Good interpersonal skills, possessing the confidence to build relationships with all levels of stakeholder

- Must have in depth knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse and Sharepoint

- Good experience in creating solutions using the Power Platform

- Good grasp of new / emerging technology trends - experience of Co Pilot will be a significant advantage

- Experience and knowledge of D365-CE and in particular areas where Power Platform can be used to extend the functionality of the suite
