About Connor Group:

Connor Group is a specialized professional services firm of Big 4 alumni and industry executives. Our team of highly experienced professionals assists financial executives with their most complex business needs, including Accounting Advisory, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and Managed Services. Connor Group India is a growing organization, currently with a team of over 50 resources, aiming to expand its team size quickly.


Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR and Admin Professional to join our India team. This position combines human resource management with administrative duties to support the organization's goals and enhance the employee experience. The ideal candidate should have Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by doing the initial screening of the profiles and in the process of rolling out the offers and appointment letters.
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Sourcing of candidates

2. Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure a positive work environment.

3. HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

4. Performance Management:

  • Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide support to managers in employee evaluations.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans if necessary.

5. Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions in coordination with L&D, if needed.

6. Administrative Functions:

  • Plan and execute company events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, retreats, and team-building exercises. The company organizes two annual retreats, quarterly regional team get-togethers, and monthly virtual meetings, among other events. Responsibilities include venue selection, vendor coordination, team travel and accommodation, transport logistics, on-site management, expense management and travel documentation.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities.

7. Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.

8. Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of HR data.

9. Strategic Planning: Work along with the US team in the following:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and culture-building activities.
  • Work on finalization and implementation of broader firm projects

10. Manager:

  • Manage, coach, and mentor administrative staff

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7-12 years of experience - consulting, Big 4 HR operations preferred
  • Proven experience in HR and administrative roles.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a similar industry or sector.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

  • Candidate will be working with and reporting to both India and the US office
  • Open office hours. However, need to be available for all the meetings with the US team till Midnight (India time). Experience working in a Global company
  • Work from home with occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.
  • Full-time position with potential for flexible working hours.
