Role Overview:
- The Brand Development & Communications Lead will be responsible for shaping the organization's brand identity in India.
- This role involves developing and executing comprehensive branding strategies, managing public relations efforts, and enhancing both external and internal communications.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, brand-building, and strategic communication while collaborating with global and regional stakeholders, marketing teams, and vendor partners to ensure brand consistency and visibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Development & Employer Branding:
- Strategic Brand Positioning: Develop a robust branding roadmap that aligns with the global vision while catering to the cultural and business nuances of the Indian market.
- This includes defining brand pillars, messaging frameworks, and identity guidelines.
2. Employer Branding Initiatives:
- Design, implement, and continuously refine employer branding strategies to position the organization as a premier workplace in India.
- This includes leveraging digital platforms, university partnerships, and employee engagement programs.
3. Employee Advocacy Programs:
- Establish structured initiatives that empower employees to become brand ambassadors through employee-generated content campaigns, social media advocacy training, and engagement tools.
4. Branding Materials & Content:
- Oversee the conceptualization and production of high-quality branding assets such as career websites, recruitment brochures, employee testimonials, and corporate videos that highlight the organization's work culture and values.
5. Agency & Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external branding agencies, creative partners, PR firms, and digital marketers to ensure a consistent brand experience across all channels.
- Develop performance metrics to assess vendor effectiveness.
6. Public Relations & Media Engagement

- Design and execute a public relations blueprint to enhance the organization's reputation in India.
- Develop targeted PR campaigns to increase visibility in industry publications, business media, and mainstream news platforms.
8. Press & Thought Leadership:
- Position the organization as an authority in fintech and digital payment solutions by arranging media interactions, publishing executive opinion pieces, and securing interviews with key stakeholders.
9. Press Releases & Media Kits:
- Craft compelling press releases, corporate announcements, and investor communications that align with company objectives and effectively reach target audiences.
10. Industry Events & Sponsorships:
- Identify high-value industry conferences, forums, and business summits for sponsorship and executive participation.
- Develop speaking opportunities for leadership teams to strengthen brand recognition.
11. Crisis Communications:
- Develop and execute a proactive crisis communication strategy to manage brand reputation during challenges.
- Establish response protocols and coordinate with media outlets to ensure transparency and trust.
External & Internal Communications:
Corporate Messaging & Storytelling: Create impactful messaging frameworks that consistently communicate the organization's values, innovations, and achievements across internal and external platforms.
Executive Communications: Support senior leadership by developing strategic communication materials such as keynote speeches, investor briefings, leadership blogs, and corporate presentations.
Social Media & Content Strategy: Lead digital storytelling efforts by managing the organization's social media presence, content calendars, and engagement metrics.
Develop blogs, newsletters, whitepapers, and interactive digital campaigns to enhance brand awareness.
Internal Engagement & Culture Building: Foster a strong company culture by implementing internal communication programs such as leadership town halls, employee recognition events, corporate newsletters, and engagement surveys.
Stakeholder Communication: Establish seamless communication channels between departments, global teams, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity in organizational messaging.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Professional Experience: 7-10 years of experience in corporate communications, branding, or public relations, preferably in a multinational or technology-driven organization.
Expertise in PR & Branding: Proven track record of developing and executing large-scale branding and PR campaigns with measurable impact.
Media & Influencer Relations: Established network within Indian media and experience in managing relationships with journalists, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
Content Development & Storytelling: Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
Project & Vendor Management: Experience managing cross-functional teams, external agencies, and large-scale communication initiatives.
Tech-Savvy & Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with employer branding tools, social media analytics, digital marketing platforms, and content distribution channels.
Excellent Communication & Leadership Skills: Ability to influence, inspire, and drive brand initiatives across different organizational levels
