Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **HR Operations Specialist** to manage key aspects of HR operations, including payroll processing, labor compliance, and employee record management. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless execution of HR functions while maintaining compliance with labor laws and fostering a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilitie
1. **Payroll Management**
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salary calculations, deductions, and tax compliance.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., income tax, provident fund, gratuity, etc.).
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries related to compensation.
- Coordinate with finance for payroll audits and reporting.
2. **Labor Management and Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employment contracts, employee onboarding, and offboarding documentation.
- Liaise with labor authorities and represent the company during inspections or audits.
- Monitor and update internal policies to align with changing labor laws and company objectives.
3. **Employee Records and HR Administration**
- Maintain up-to-date employee records in HR systems, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and retirement plans.
- Oversee time and attendance systems, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
4. **Process Improvement**
- Identify and implement improvements in HR processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline inter-departmental workflows related to HR operations.
5. **Employee Relations and Support**
- Act as the first point of contact for HR operational queries and provide timely resolutions.
- Support in conducting employee training sessions on HR policies and compliance matters.
