Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Actively source and recruit qualified IT professionals, primarily for H1 transfer positions, through various channels such as job boards (Dice, Monster, CB, LinkedIn), networking, and headhunting.
- Assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit to identify the best matches for our organization.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Immigration Expertise:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of US immigration laws and processes, particularly related to H1B transfers and green card applications.
- Advise candidates on immigration procedures, documentation requirements, and potential challenges.
- Collaborate with immigration attorneys to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Market Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and the latest developments in the IT recruitment landscape.
- Understand the specific requirements of various IT roles and the challenges associated with sourcing talent in the US market.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders within the organization.
- Effectively communicate candidate profiles and progress throughout the recruitment process.
- Negotiate compensation packages and other terms with candidates.
Process Management:
- Streamline and optimize the recruitment process to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-hire.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other tools to manage candidate data and track progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's/PG degree or equivalent experience in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT recruitment, preferably with a focus on the US market.
- Strong understanding of immigration laws and processes, especially H1B transfers and green card applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
