The Financial Analyst will be responsible for activities related to accounting and tax compliance for Indian and global operations. This includes coordinating all the requirements for the statutory audit and SEZ compliance and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to obtain required information. This individual will also have ownership over specific journal entries, reconciliations and accounting activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collect and organize documentation and prepare supporting schedules for financial audit and tax compliance requirements.
Work with accounts payable team and suppliers to ensure appropriate documentation is being received for tax compliance purposes
Prepare journal entries and other analysis to support month-end accounting close processes
Prepare and review detailed account reconciliations, obtain corresponding support to verify accuracy of the financial numbers and resolve any reconciling items timely
Finding opportunities to streamline process, increase automation, and address gaps. Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives.
Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company.
Job Requirements:
Strong background in financial controllership, reporting and project management.
Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles
Computer literacy skills, especially with MS Excel, Oracle Cloud (or similar ERP), Power BI and basic data entry and computation.
Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detail
Hands on approach, Technology and data driven
