Eligibility - Associate/Sr. Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Verify and validate patient eligibility for medical services using various methods, including online portals, phone calls, and electronic systems.
• Review and analyse insurance coverage information to determine the patient's eligibility status.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including billing and coding, to ensure accurate and complete patient eligibility data.
• Maintain accurate records of patient eligibility verification activities and documentation.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to patient eligibility, insurance coverage, or billing.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accurate eligibility determination.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings to share insights, best practices, and contribute to process improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Previous experience in healthcare revenue cycle management is not mandatory - freshers are most welcome!
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
