Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end full cycle accounts payables process for Asia Pacific Region out of Bangalore.
• Responsible for a seamless, efficient, and timely transition of identified processes into RTX ES Bangalore service center
• Lead operational and governance calls to present monthly operational Dashboards, Metrics, Activity Trackers & Monthly/Quarterly Reserves/Accruals to Directors/Regional Controllers/Country Controllers/ other stakeholders.
• Responsibility for service delivery accordingly to service level agreed targets & for maintaining high level of Customer satisfaction.
• Provide decision support for ad-hoc activities which financially impact the customers.
• Supporting AP teams with all issues related to operations & making sure all tasks are performed on time in line with SLAs.
• Effectively lead change, manage, and escalate risks arising out of transition of new processes.
• Identify, plan and lead continuous improvements program using CORE, drive process transformation and improvements to increase team efficiency and generate value addition to customers.
• Responsibility to ensure that team remains satisfied and engaged, recognizing team members for achievements; actively networking with other teams & departments.
• Review operational excellence analytics, identify and lead automations, support team leads in creating analytical tools helpful in ensuring high level of performance within the teams.
• Acting as a main escalation point internally and for customers.
• Lead investment proposals and collaboratively work with customers on any new business in the channel- ensuring pricing, investment levels.
• Deliver and encourage a strong governance culture.
• Map controls to processes and support review of key risks and associated controls and compliance policies & procedures.
• Ensure the relevant financial controls are operating as designed (SOX compliance)

Required Skills

• Proven experience of leading full cycle end to end accounts payable team
• Should have strong accounting knowledge to understand the accounting concepts from record to report, Month end close and Reconciliations perspective.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, problem solving and decision-making abilities required.
• Excellent organizational skills, unrelenting attention to detail, resourceful, and a strong work ethic which insists on accuracy and diligence to the assigned tasks.
• Outstanding analytical ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve accounts payable issues.
• Ability to think critically by applying problem solving practices, using technology and other resources appropriately.
• Proven customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Strong people management skills & should have managed at least 30 - 40 people.
• As a business requirement willing to work in any shift to support multiple time zones.

Experience

• 14+ years of experience in Finance Operations, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, Invoice Processing, Indexing, Payment Disbursements, Month End Close, Reconciliations, Vendor Management, etc.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Good knowledge of SAP, Oracle, MS Office ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook )
• Proven track record of handling large teams - 30 to 40 people.

Required Education

• B.com/M.com/CA Inter / MBA-finance from a reputed college / university.
