Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Timely and Accurate accounting

Compliance with Direct and Indirect tax laws

Prepare the monthly reporting package of the company\u2019s financial performance

Ensuring compliance to company policies at all times

Assist in analysis of actual results versus plan and forecast; prepare variance reporting.

Work closely with the Finance Manager & Senior Accountants on the monthly close of accounting activities.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with annual audit activities, tax compliance and hedging activities, and all dashboard and Company metrics/KPI\u2019s.

Implement automation throughout the Accounting and Finance departments to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Develop new processes as appropriate.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in accounting along with CA (inter) / MBA preferred.

Minimum 6- 10 years of related experience in accounting and/or reporting, preferably in private sectors; media / broadcasting experience is a plus.

Strong analysis and financial reporting skills required.

Experience working with accounting general ledger packages - Tally.

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office products or equivalent, primarily in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups and advanced excel formulas along with PowerPoint.

Works well under pressure with the ability to prioritize competing deliverables.

Excellent Oral and written communication skills.

Ability to use multiple software packages that support the financial system.
