Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview:

Cogoport is currently looking for an individual who has the mindset of an entrepreneur, understanding of the culture, with a passion to join our team. Candidate is required to analyze data from cross functional teams including rates, pricing, operations, and contracts to provide business insights and implement static and dynamic pricing across services.

Responsibilities:

• Provides analyses of data and makes recommendations regarding pricing across services.
• Analyze complex rates data to determine projected profits or potential losses including risk analysis. Analyze and present alternative pricing scenarios with varying risk trade-offs.
• Provide quantitative & qualitative analysis of pricing, financial analysis, economic forecasting, competitive intelligence, market segmentation, targeted marketing initiatives, and other marketing trends in support of the organization & long-range global marketing strategies.
• Develop advanced statistical reports to track, analyze, and forecast volumes and revenues and economic impact by customer group/product/country, etc.
• Publishing prices, monitoring outcomes, and deriving and implementing learnings from pricing experiments into process/algorithm.
• Formulate timely, competitive, and accurate responses to Global RFQs and local pricing requests.
• Suggest and recommend changes needed in the product to optimize the price manufacturing process and algorithms.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor/Master's degree in CSE, Mathematics, or Analytics, or Economics.
• Work Experience: 5+ years of related experience or an Advanced degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of related experience.

Must Have Skills:

• Background of working in B2B Processes with a strong commercial acumen is recommended.
• Experience in pricing analysis.
• Excellent data analysis skills (investigation, modeling, mapping & gap analysis).
• Experience in handling large datasets - Expert data modeling skills.

Things that make a difference:

• Project Management will be a good addition, however not mandatory.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure and fast paced environment, working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong knowledge of fundamentals, including funnel analytics, customer segmentation, user activity modeling, churn analytics and A/B testing.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities - able to conceptualize, organize, simplify, and execute.
• Ability to own projects end-to-end: building out timelines, key milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders and delivery against agreed upon specs.
