We are seeking a Sr. Apache Solr Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Lucidworks Fusion Spring Boot Java and Apache Solr. This role involves developing and maintaining high-performance applications that drive our business forward. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance applications using Lucidworks Fusion Spring Boot Java and Apache Solr.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
• Lead the integration of new technologies to enhance existing systems.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed applications.
• Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Continuously monitor and improve application performance to meet evolving business needs.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in Lucidworks Fusion Spring Boot Java and Apache Solr.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
• Experience with agile development methodologies is highly desirable.
• Nice to have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
