Job Description


Job Title: SPE - Trainer [Lanes/HD Maps] (Individual Contributor)
Location: Hyderabad, Financial District
Shift Timing: Early morning, 6am to 4pm
Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week WFO
Role Overview: As a Process Trainer, you will leverage your HD Maps/Basic Maps LG IR IS expertise to ensure that new associates, as well as those transitioning into new roles, are well-equipped to meet the clients expectations. You will conduct domain training, facilitate knowledge transfer, and support performance improvement. Your role will involve creating and maintaining training content, ensuring continuous learning, and acting as a liaison between the client and operations to deliver top-tier performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training and Development:

  • Leverage your GIS domain expertise to impart knowledge to newly hired associates or those moved to the project.
  • Conduct training programs for new hires (NHT), refresher batches, and project-specific training.
  • Design and deliver domain training, including soft skills and behavioral training, tailored to project needs.
  • Develop training materials, including SOPs, session plans, assessments, knowledge checks, and PKTs.
  • Certify associates after training to ensure they meet the expected performance standards.

2. Knowledge Transfer & Stakeholder Management:

  • Facilitate the transfer of client updates, feedback, and error rectification to ensure output aligns with client expectations.
  • Serve as a bridge between internal operations and the client to communicate and implement feedback.
  • Create and maintain a knowledge base (KB), including one-pagers, crispers, flyers, and knowledge checks for the team.
  • Ensure that the client's expectations and processes are communicated clearly to operations.
  • Monitor and track performance of associates for up to 90 days post-training, offering tailored support as needed.

3. Process and Performance Monitoring:

  • Maintain governance records for NHT and refresher batches, including training timelines, performance tracking, certification status, and behavioral inputs.
  • Conduct regular surveys, feedback sessions, and TNAs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement action plans based on performance reviews and drive improvements across the team.
  • Ensure continued improvement by implementing periodic checks and controls.

4. Reporting & Collaboration:

  • Prepare and provide insights for various business reviews such as WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, and YBRs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations and quality leads, to discuss training requirements and implementation plans.
  • Provide regular updates on the performance of associates and interventions implemented to meet client expectations.

5. Policy Management:

  • Manage policy change dissemination and ensure all stakeholders are informed of new processes or updates.
  • Ensure all documentation, including policies, training content, and knowledge base, is up-to-date and approved by relevant stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:
Required:

  • Graduation is required.
  • Previous GIS domain expertise (minimum 2 years of experience in the core workflow).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate training sessions.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver training content effectively, both in-person and remotely.
  • Strong facilitation and mentoring skills, with a focus on helping individuals improve performance.
  • At least 2 years of core domain knowledge and experience in facilitating training for external stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with knowledge base tools and documentation processes.
  • Ability to conduct TNAs, surveys, and feedback sessions to measure performance improvements.

Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and action-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and track training programs and performance metrics effectively.
  • Attention to detail in creating and maintaining training materials and knowledge documentation.

Work Environment:

  • This is a non-billable role that requires the trainer to work directly with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality training and performance outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration across teams is essential to meet the clients requirements.
