Qualification: Post Graduate in Geo informatics/ Geo informatics

Critical Skills required for the position: Remote Sensing, GIS, Communication and Presentation Skills.

Skills required:

1 Should have sound knowledge in Remote Sensing and GIS.

2 Strong GIS skills with two or more GIS/RS software and applications.

3 A basic understanding of the concepts behind data management in a relational database

4 Must have "Hands-on" experience on GIS and Remote Sensing (At least 2 or more projects)

Job profile:

Analyse systems requirements

• Interact extensively with customers and internal team to understand the requirements and its documentation.
• Analyse data creation methodology and future IT schemes.
• Ensure that the technical requirements are properly integrated with existing processes and skill sets
• identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
• User manuals preparation and provide training to end users

Undertake Solution development

• Work closely with internal team of Solution Architect, Database Administrator, Project Managers and Customer to develop solution and ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
• Design components and provide information to the developer.
• Provide application side GIS architecture, Database architecture for web based and integrated applications to developers.

Implement, configure and test feasible solutions

• Help programmers during system development, provide use cases, flowcharts or even database design.
• Drawing up, supervising and documenting testing schedule for complete system;
• Oversee implementation of a new system including data migration
• supporting users on change control and system updates
• Perform system testing and deploy the completed system
• Document requirements or contribute to user manuals
• Must responds to difficult GIS/Remote sensing inquiries from end-users
