Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in BDD Cucumber JavaScript Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. Additionally experience in the Property Casualty Insurance domain is mandatory. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases for software applications.

Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks using BDD Cucumber and Selenium.

Provide expertise in JavaScript Java and PL/SQL to ensure high-quality code and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.

Utilize Jenkins and Maven for continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.

Implement and manage test management tools such as TestNG and Jira.

Ensure adherence to Scrum methodologies and participate in daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.

Conduct thorough testing of Property Casualty Insurance applications to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Identify document and track defects and issues and work with development teams to resolve them.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Develop and maintain test scripts and test data for automated and manual testing.

Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established processes and best practices.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess strong technical skills in BDD Cucumber JavaScript Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL.

Demonstrate extensive experience in the Property Casualty Insurance domain.

Have a proven track record of leading quality engineering efforts in a hybrid work environment.

Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Show strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Hold a relevant certification such as ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent.
